Off-the-shelf golf clubs are one-size-fits-all, designed for the "typical" golfer. Similar to the situation that you walk into a Shoe store that sells only Free Size shoes. In this case, typical means someone 5-foot-9 or 5-10 who hits a 5- or 6-iron 160 yards. A golfer might get lucky with an off-the-shelf set, but many golfers will find themselves ill-suited to such a set.

MST GOLF Tech Shop began operations in 2005, managed by David Tang. With 20 years of experience, David was the country's first Certified Class A Master Clubmaker from MALTBY Design Clubmaking Academy. He is also a member of the Professional Clubmakers Society's (PCS) and Golf Clubmakers Association (GCS). David has worked with numerous tour professionals on the Asian and European PGA Tours since 2006, during the Maybank Malaysian Open and Iskandar Johor Open tournaments. Some notable customers were, Darren Clarke, Thongchai Jaidee, Jyoti Randhawa, Arjun Atwal and Jeev Milkha Singh to name but a few.
Like the pros, amateur golfers can all get their clubs custom-fitted. MST GOLF Tech Shop, professionally fit clubs with the incorporation of the most innovative and accurate equipments such as the Golf Achiever II – Computerized Laser Swing Analyzer, and custom-fitting systems sponsored by many leading brands.
